Personal touch

In my ongoing attempt to create knits with my handspun yarn, right now I’m working on the Formal Boot Bag from the book Bag Style.  The bag is felted but there’s also an unfelted front panel.  I decided to use some of my handspun for the front panel.  I just finished dyeing the yarn and it is currently drying on the rack.  My bag is felted and is currently drying as well.  I don’t know about you, but I feel like felted items take forever to dry.  The yarn will take about a day, maybe as soon as this evening, but I can’t wait to see how this will turn out.

I am also working on new yarns for the Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church’s Rainbow Festival in Bowling Green in a few weeks.  I will have a booth there, so please come visit if you can come out.  It will be Sat. June 26 from 2-7pm.  Today, I’m headed to the Perrysburg Fiber Arts Festival at the 577 Foundation in Perrysburg.

Have a good day everyone and keep on knitting.
